On April 5th, 1994, Kurt Donald Cobain was found dead in his Seattle home. The world reeled, a generation mourned. Cars stopped on the Seattle freeway, when the news came over the radio. The voice of an ignored generation was dead.
Kurt had went missing on April 2nd, after running away from a rehab centre. Courntey, apparently distressed, called the Seattle police, posing as Kurt's mother, and told them that her suicidal son was missing.

This was actually really clever on Courtney's behalf. By telling the police Kurt was suicidal, she was practically telling them they would find him dead, and that he had commited suicide.

The police said the usual, they had to wait 24 hours before searching for Kurt. The easily angered Courtney did not like this, and bought in Tom Grant, a private detective, making her seem the worried wife. Little did she know Tom Grant was going to end up proving the murder theory she so desperately wanted to be kept a secret.

Tom Grant and Kurt's best friend Dillan went to the Seattle home, to look for Kurt. They found the house empty. Little did Tom know Kurt's body was lying in a pool of blood in the tiny room above the garage called the greenhouse.

Kurt's body was eventually found by an electrician. The news was on the radion within minutes, and the world went into mourning for their tragic hero.

Any normal P.I would consider it case closed, but not the dedicated Mr Grant. Something about the whole situation nagged at the back of his mind, and he began to explore the case further.
